Central Coast Honey Bee on Flower

Frequently asked questions

Do you use your own honey?

Yes! We use the honey from our own hives located across the Central Coast, all harvested and bottled on our farm, Horseshoe Valley Farm & Apiary, in Dooralong.

How much notice do you need for a large order?

If the jars are listed as in stock on the website, then we aim to have them bottled and ready to ship within a week. If we have to order in jars, then we’d appreciate a few weeks’ notice.

Do you do custom tags or stickers?

Sorry, not at this stage - we’ve decided to stick to our core as beekeepers and farmers, not graphic designers! We do have some great DIY ideas though, so reach out for inspiration!

Where do you deliver to?

NSW, VIC, QLD and parts of SA. Honey is subject to strict biosecurity controls in Australia, and we do not ship to WA, Tasmania or Kangaroo Island. Ask us if you’re unsure.

What will the honey taste like?

Delicious! Our beehives are located in local native bushland and eucalyptus forests of the Central Coast. Although our harvest varies depending on the season and weather, our honey is known to be very tasty and palatable, and looks beautiful in its little jars.

Do you do bigger wedding honey jars?

Yes - send us an email about what you’re looking for. We have a few bigger jar options that we don’t keep as standard stock and need advance notice to order in.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

No - we are a small family farm, and bottle and ship our honey jars direct from the farm, so we aren’t open to the general public. We do encourage local customers to pick up their jars for free from the farm - and then we’re happy to show you around!
